When we first started talking about a collab with Lolo back in October, it honestly felt like such a full circle moment.
Summer has worn wild + rae for years, so this never felt like a random partnership or just another influencer launch. It felt genuine from the beginning. Lolo already understood the brand, the comfort, and the little details that make our boots special because her girls actually wore them in real life.
I flew out to Arizona and we spent time designing the collection together from the ground up. We talked through colors, embroidery, bows, styling, and all the little details we wanted the boots to have. We wanted the collection to feel soft, feminine, nostalgic, and wearable. Something elevated but still playful and fun for girls.
One of our favorite details ended up being the custom “Howdy Y’all” embroidery down the back paired with gingham bows and floral embroidery. Every detail was intentionally designed to feel timeless and special.
After what felt like endless samples and rounds of perfecting every little detail, the boots were finally done.
We went back to Arizona for the campaign shoot and it honestly turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. We photographed the collection with Lolo’s daughters, Summer and Sav, her two cows Teddy and Buttons, and even Harlow.
More than anything, we wanted this collection to capture matching moments, motherhood, girlhood, and the memories that come with it. Watching Summer grow up wearing wild + rae and now creating a collection together makes this launch feel incredibly meaningful to me.
This is also our first ever influencer collaboration, which makes it even more special.
